IN BRIEF: Corero Network Security partners with Forte Telecom

Corero Network Security PLC - London-based cybersecurity firm specialising in distributed denial of service protection - Secures a regional partnership with Forte Telecom, one of the largest telecommunications providers in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The three-year contract is worth USD1.2 million. Corero will use its new 400G appliance to deliver DDoS protection, and reduce hardware and operational complexity. This offers Forte Telecom "significant" cost savings and future-proof scalability.

Chief Executive Officer Carl Herberger says: "I am pleased to announce this new deal with Forte, a strategically important customer acquisition for Corero as we aim to further consolidate our reputation as a leading provider of DDoS protection and mitigation services in Latin America."
