Centrica PLC - Windsor, England-based owner of British Gas - Announces results of tender offer announced on May 10, to holders of its outstanding GBP450.0 million subordinated resettable fixed rate notes. Says that as of the expiration deadline on Friday, shareholders had validly tendered GBP414.7 million in aggregate principal amount of the notes. Centrica intends to cancel them and will therefore have repurchased and cancelled 92.15% of the notes, with GBP35.3 million remaining outstanding.
