BioPharma Credit PLC - life sciences debt investment trust - Alongside BioPharma Credit Investments V, has entered deals where they will invest up to USD112.5 million into two transactions.
BioPharma will invest up to USD62.5 million into Nasdaq-listed biopharmaceutical firm Evolus Inc, alongside an investment of the same amount by BioPharma-V. Loan will mature in December 2027, bearing interest at three-month LIBOR plus 8.5%.
In addition, lenders will invest an additional USD50 million into Global Blood Therapeutics, increased the aggregate principal amount of the loan to USD250 million.
