IN BRIEF: Aviva caps note tender offers at GBP298 million

Aviva PLC - London-based insurance firm - Sets the capped offers maximum acceptance amount, for its tender offers announced on Tuesday, at GBP298.3 million. The offers are for its GBP700.0 million 6.125% fixed/fixed rate reset subordinated notes due 2036, of which GBP200.0 million remains outstanding; EUR750.0 million 1.875% senior notes due 2027, of which GBP464.0 million remains outstanding; and GBP350.0 million fixed rate reset perpetual restricted tier 1 contingent convertible notes, of which GBP350.0 million remains outstanding, of Direct Line Insurance Group Ltd. In each case, Aviva on Tuesday invited eligible holders to tender their outstanding notes for cash, in order to "proactively manage [its] capital structure and expected redemption profile."
