Henderson Smaller Cos Trust NAV up 12.5%

Henderson Smaller Companies Investment Trust saw net asset value per share between 30 November and 31 March increase by 12.5%.The company's benchmark increased by 12.3% on a total return basis in the same period.As at 31 March 2010, the company had total gross borrowings of £23m and total net borrowings of £22m, representing gearing of 10.5%.
