(Sharecast News) - London's FTSE 100 was up 0.3% at 10,470.09 in afternoon trade on Friday.
Games Workshop was the standout gainer on the index as the Warhammer maker said it expected higher revenue and profits in the year to May, but that licensing revenue would likely be lower.
In a typically brief trading statement, the company said annual core revenue would be at least £625m, compared with fiscal 2025's £565m and licensing revenue not less than £30m, against £52.5m last time.
Pre-tax profit was estimated to be at least £265m compared with £262.8m last year.
Broker Peel Hunt hailed a positive end to the year, with core sales up 11% in actual currency and probably about 13% in constant currency.
Meanwhile, Jefferies said pre-tax profit was "very much consistent" with its own expectations, but around 4% above consensus expectations. Jefferies said the performance had been solid overall and that it remains bullish on the growth opportunities ahead.
BT Group was also in the black, recovering some poise after falling a day earlier on the back of results.
On the downside, Convatec resumed its slide, having tumbled on Thursday after results.
