Forbidden Technologies wins first contract for video platform

Thu, 04th Feb 2016 15:22
(ShareCast News) - Forbidden Technologies was celebrating its first contract win for its social video platform on Thursday, after a number of proof-of-concept trials. The AIM-traded technology firm's 'eva' platform described itself as "the real video social network", and allows users to create profiles to share videos with friends and other users.Forbidden Technologies said WAE - a London-based design agency - would license a channel for three months initially, with the option of extending for a further 12.Through the license, WAE planned to provide clients with a tool whereby users of the social network generated content around a theme, such as feedback on a design or an app, that could be edited and distributed by clients as rights holders.A new private channel feature within eva was an important inclusion in the agreement, Forbidden Technologies reported."For an award-winnning global design consultancy, eva represents an unparalleled opportunity to access authentic insight into users' habits and behaviours", said WAE partner Rachel Armstrong. The agreement followed successful, unpaid proof of concept trials undertaken with Movember, Red Letter Days and Funny Women."Agencies represent the most appropriate route to makret for eva channels", said Forbidden Technologies CEO Aziz Musa."They have access to a large client base, and are constantly looking for new and innovative products to drive customer value", he added.
