LONDON (Alliance News) - Forbidden Technologies PLC said Tuesday that its new consumer video editor, which it has called 'Captevate', is expected to be released late this year.
Forbidden owns and operates a cloud-video editing platform called 'ForScene', but is looking to expand into the consumer space through a video social network called 'eva', and this new video editor.
Development of the new video editor is continuing, with technical proof of concept completed last month, the company said. It believes sales of Captevate "have the potential to be meaningful" from 2017 onwards.
Shares in Forbidden Technologies are trading up 0.7% at 7.80 pence Tuesday morning.
