LONDON (Alliance News) - Forbidden Technologies PLC said Wednesday its Blackbird product has reached Microsoft Corp co-sell ready status.

As a result, the cloud video platform technology provider said the status "facilitates a closer working relationship between Blackbird and Microsoft".

Forbidden Technologies said its sales team will now be working with Microsoft to sell Blackbird to new and existing customers.

"We are delighted to be one of a group of vendors working with the Microsoft sales teams to drive cloud adoption through a truly differentiated solution that uses Azure. We are excited by the opportunities ahead as the media industry moves video workflows to the cloud," said Chief Executive Officer Ian McDonough.
