FBD Holdings director buys shares showing confidence in the business

A non-executive director at FBD Holdings has bought 3,000 shares in the Irish insurance company.Brian Horan acquired the new shares at an individual price of €11.48, spending €34,455 in the transaction.The purchase shows Horan's confidence in the group, which saw its pre-tax profits of €51.45m in 2013 turning into losses of €4.53m in 2014.Chief executive Andrew Langford said at the time: "2014 was a very difficult year for the Irish insurance industry and for FBD.
