(Alliance News) - F&C Investment Trust PLC on Tuesday said Quintin Price has been appointed as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Price is currently a senior advisor at Actis, a private equity, real estate, and energy & infrastructure firm.
Between 2005 and 2015 Price worked at asset manager BlackRock Inc, where he was global head of alpha strategies, F&C said.
Chair Beatrice Hollond commented: "Quintin brings investment banking and investment management knowledge and expertise to the board from a 30-year career working at a senior level for a number of leading companies and we are delighted that he is joining the board."
Shares in F&C closed 0.7% higher on Tuesday in London at 618.00 pence each.
