Ex-Halma Financial Controller Carol Chesney Joins IQE Board

LONDON (Alliance News) - Wafer products maker IQE PLC on Tuesday announced the appointment of former Halma PLC Financial Controller Carol Chesney to its board.

Chesney begins her role as a non-executive director at the semiconductor firm with immediate effect.

She was company secretary at health, safety, and environmental technology firm Halma until 2018, having also served as financial controller.

IQE Chair Phil Smith commented: "I am delighted to welcome Carol to IQE's board.

"Her appointment brings to the group a unique breadth of board level experience from across a diverse range of listed businesses that will add an invaluable perspective to IQE as the company continues to build its position as a global technology leader."

Shares were 0.4% higher on Tuesday at a price of 83.33 pence each.
