Eurasia Mining Shares Up As Monchetundra Drilling Commences

LONDON (Alliance News) - Eurasia Mining PLC on Tuesday said drilling has now started at the Monchetundra platinum licence area in Russia.

The company said the drilling programme is designed to add to and detail the reserves at the site and said the results will be incorporated into its mining licence application.

"After success in receiving the Mining Licence for West Kytlim, we are pleased to be back working on this exciting project at Monchetundra," said Managing Director Christian Schaffalitzky.

Shares in Eurasia were up 13% after the open to 0.9 pence, one of the best performers in the AIM All-Share.
