Ericsson wins 5-year Vodafone deal

STOCKHOLM, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Ericsson has signeda five-year deal to provide Vodafone with networkequipment and services under the telecom operator's investmentprogramme Project Spring, the Swedish mobile network gear makersaid on Wednesday.

The contract includes an upgrade and expansion of Vodafone's2G and 3G network and a build-out of 4G LTE along withprofessional services, Ericsson said in a statement.
