EMIS Group Senior Non-Executive Departs, Makes New Non-Exec Hire

Thu, 02nd May 2019 15:00

LONDON (Alliance News) - Healthcare software firm EMIS Group PLC on Thursday said Senior Non-Executive Director Robin Taylor will leave at next week's annual general meeting.

The AGM is next Wednesday, with Taylor having spent nine years in the role. He will be replaced by current Non-Executive Director Andy McKeon.

EMIS has also appointed former Lockheed Martin executive Jennifer Byrne as a non-executive director, starting at the AGM.

"Robin has completed nine years of service with EMIS Group and on behalf of his colleagues, I would like to thank him sincerely for his advice and continued support throughout. We wish him a long and happy retirement," said Chair Mike O'Leary.

"It gives me great pleasure to welcome Jennifer Byrne to the Board. Her wealth of commercial experience and background in using technical insight to deliver challenging and technically complex engineering programmes, will complement and enhance the significant expertise we already have on the board."

EMIS shares were 2.1% lower on Thursday at 1,120.00 pence each.
