EMIS Group Sees Rise In Annual Revenue In Line With Expectations

LONDON (Alliance News) - Emis Group PLC said Thursday that 2018 trading was in line with board expectations, with revenue ahead of 2017 due to continued benefits from recurring revenue and strong market share.

The healthcare software and services provider said its Primary, Community & Acute Care division maintained its market share during the year and made further progress in securing new contracts.

The Community Pharmacy division delivered a strong performance with continued roll out its pharmacy software system ProScript Connect.

The company's Specialist & Care division recorded encouraging revenue and profit growth in the year, while the Patient division made progress towards delivery of a digital healthcare marketplace.

Emis Group ended the year with net cash of GBP15.6 million versus GBP14.0 million a year ago.

Shares in the company were down 0.5% at 915.00 pence each on Thursday morning. It is slated to release its annual results on March 20.
