CAIRO, July 6 (Reuters) - Egypt's petroleum minister Tarek El Molla told Sky News Arabia on Thursday that he expects a minimum production capacity of at least six trillion cubic feet (tcf) from new natural gas wells the country plans to start drilling.
Egypt has begun a $1.8 billion programme to drill natural gas exploration wells in the Mediterranean Sea and Nile Delta in cooperation with Eni, Chevron, ExxonMobil , Shell and BP. (Reporting by Alaa Swilam and Enas Alashray; Editing by Jan Harvey)
