ECSC secures two 'significant contract wins'

Wed, 17th Feb 2021 08:58
(Sharecast News) - Cybersecurity services provider ECSC Group said on Wednesday that it had secured two "significant contract wins" in its managed detection and response division with an unnamed "major" UK charity and a mystery leisure group.
ECSC will provide its new clients with cybersecurity monitoring, detection and response support from its security operations centres in the UK and Australia, employing its proprietary Kepler artificial intelligence technology to deliver an enhanced service.

The AIM-listed group noted that the contracts, both of which were for an initial period of three years, had a combined revenue value in excess of £550,000 and will be recognised throughout the duration of the contracts.

Chief executive Ian Mann said: "These new contracts demonstrate the continued resilience of the long-established MDR service that grew strongly throughout 2020 and has continued to grow in 2021."

As of 0945 GMT, ECSC shares had shot up 11.43% to 78.0p.
