Andreas Weissenbacher (BWT CEO): "This deal sets one of the last important milestones for BWT´s geographic expansion in Europe. We cordially welcome 160 new employees in UK in our BWT-family". The acquired company - from now on "BWT - Best Water Technology UK Ltd." has its headquarter in High Wycombe near London and owns an assembly and logistic-center in Billingham/Middlesbrough. The company holds a good market position in UK in the field of domestic water treatment, plumbers and merchants are the main customers. The sale of water dispensers also belongs to the business activities. The company will be consolidated starting July and will contribute about 7m EUR and a slightly favourable operating result to this years BWT group results. The parties did not disclose the purchase price.
