DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Vodafone Non-Executive Nish Buys Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Thursday.

Telecommunications and mobile giant Vodafone Group said Non-Executive Director David Nish bought 50,000 shares at a price of 196.88 pence per share Thursday.

Nish joined the company in January. The purchase is worth GBP98,440.

Nish was the chief executive of Standard Life, the blue-chip life insurer and investment manager, until 2015. He also sits on the boards of exchange operator London Stock Exchange Group and global lender HSBC Holdings.

The stock closed up 1.1% at 197.32p Thursday.

WANdisco said Non-Executive Director Karl Monaghan bought 35,000 shares at 140 pence each on Monday.

The company also said the director's wife Rosena Monaghan bought 6,551 shares at a price of 145p per share on Tuesday and his son Conor Monaghan acquired 3,091 shares at the same price on Monday.

After the purchases, Karl Monaghan holds a beneficial interest in 44,642 shares.

The big data and analytics firm WANdisco on Monday said it appointed Erik Miller as its chief financial officer and also added Monaghan to its board.

Miller moves from his position as interim senior vice-president of finance at WANdisco, a position he has held since October, and will take on the CFO role with immediate effect. He is the former CFO of Envivio Inc, a US software-based video processing firm bought by Sweden's Ericsson AB in October 2015.

Monaghan is the founder partner of advisory firm Ashling Capital, which he founded in 2002. Prior to that, he worked in the financial industry at Credit Lyonnais Securities and Bank of Ireland, amongst others.

The stock closed down 0.4% at 204.00p Thursday.

Bluefield Solar Income Fund said Mike Rand, a managing partner and co-founder, bought shares in the solar asset investment company. Rand purchased 16,258 shares at a price of 104.56 pence per share and 3,821 shares at a price of 104.66 pence per share on Tuesday. Following this acquisition, Rand has a beneficial interest of 201,203 shares. Bluefield Solar Income Fund on Wednesday said it has agreed to acquire five solar power plants in the UK for a total of GBP22.7 million. The stock closed down 0.7% at 106.75p Thursday.

Recruiter Gattaca said Chief Executive Officer Brian Wilkinson bought 34,488 shares at a price of 288.50 pence per share on Wednesday. Following this transaction, Wilkinson now holds 127,210 shares. The company also said Chairman Patrick Shanley purchased 15,000 shares at the same price on Wednesday. The purchase is his only holding. The stock closed down 0.3% at 288.00p Thursday.

Insurer Beazley said Non-Executive Director Angela Crawford-Ingle bought 5,157 shares at a price of 384.68 pence per share Wednesday. The purchase follows that of fellow Non-Executive Director Robert Stuchbery, who bought 10,600 shares at a price of 381.67 pence share on Wednesday. The stock closed up 0.9% at 389.90p Thursday.

ScS Group said Dorothy Royal, a person connected to Managing Director Kevin Royal, sold 350,000 shares at an average price of 164.14 pence each on Tuesday and Wednesday. Following the sale, Kevin Royal is beneficially interested in 49,309 shares. The stock closed up 2.3% at 168.00p Thursday.

BGEO Group said General Counsel Avtandil Namicheishvili sold around GBP1.5 million worth of shares in the company. Namicheishvili sold a total of 50,000 shares at an average price of GBP30.9492 each between last Tuesday and Wednesday. The stock closed 0.8% at 3,303.56 pence Thursday.
