Director dealings: Fulcrum Utility chairman buys after shares fade from high

(ShareCast News) - Fulcrum Utility Services chairman Phil Holder picked up shares in the multi-utility infrastructure group after its share price tailed off from all-time highs earlier in the summer.Utility industry veteran Holder snapped up 100,000 shares at 36.75p apiece, a few months after the stock topped 43p on the back of June's record results before slipping as much as 18% earlier this week.Fulcrum, which has since signed two large new contracts in partnership with British Gas, in June reported profits soaring to £4.3m before tax in the year to end-March from £0.6m last time on revenue up by 2.3% to £34.5m.A final dividend of 0.6p per share was recommended, with an ex-dividend date of 29 September, which the board said reflects its confidence about cash generation and future prospects.At the time Holder said: "Fulcrum has continued to make excellent progress this year, achieving our objectives and strategy. With a sustained focus on customer service excellence, we can look forward to building on recent contract wins and further expanding our multi-utility services."The group's order book and operating cash flow both remain strong and support our strategy for growth.
