DCC eyes annual operating profit growth as simplification progressing

Thu, 10th Jul 2025 09:31

(Alliance News) - DCC PLC on Thursday said it will continue to grow its customer base as it anticipates solid operating profit growth in its current financial year.

The Dublin-based sales, marketing, and support services provider said operating profit on a continuing basis was in line with expectations in the first quarter that ended in late June, and mostly lower than a year ago.

DCC expects the financial year ending March 31, 2026, to be a year of "good operating profit growth".

Chief Executive Officer Donal Murphy says: "Our simplification strategy is progressing to plan. We have reached an agreement for the sale of DCC Healthcare, made good progress on the integration of our North American Technology businesses and put our new DCC leadership team in place. Our ambition is to be a global leader in the sales, marketing and distribution of energy products and services, delivering high growth and high returns for our shareholders. DCC has a unique energy business, providing multi-energy solutions for our customers. We will continue to grow our customer base by being the provider of choice for essential energy products and by selling more services to our energy customers, driving higher organic growth rates."

DCC will publish results for the six months to September 30 on November 11.

DCC shares were up 0.8% at 4,802.64 pence each on Thursday morning in London, giving it a market capitalisation of GBP4.73 billion.
