Copper output from Chile's Codelco down nearly 10% in February

SANTIAGO, April ​10 (Reuters) - ⁠Copper production ​from Chilean state-run miner ​Codelco ‌fell ⁠9.8% year-on-year in February ⁠to 88,500 ​metric tons, data from copper commission ​Cochilco ‌showed on Friday.

Production at BHP's ​Escondida mine, ‌the world's largest copper mine, fell ‌7.4% to 105,000 tons. At Collahuasi, another ​major copper mine ‌jointly run by Glencore and Anglo ⁠American, ⁠output ‌rose 56.5% to 26,600 ​tons. (Reporting ​by ‌Fabian Cambero, Editing by Daina Beth Solomon)
