(Alliance News) - Power generation business ContourGlobal PLC on Monday announced the third extension of its GBP30 million share buyback programme.
The programme was to initially run from April 1 to June 30 last year, but has now been extended three times since, with the latest extension running to March 31.
The extension agreement, signed with Investec Bank PLC, capped the buyback at a maximum of 3.1 million shares.
To date, the FTSE 250-listed firm has repurchased 12.4 million shares at an average price of 188.44 pence each, for a total cost of GBP23.4 million.
A total of 658.3 million shares remain.
ContourGlobal shares were flat at 215.00p on Monday morning in London.
