IN BRIEF: ContourGlobal FTSE 250 replacement to be revealed next week

ContourGlobal PLC - London-based power generation firm - Index operator FTSE Russell notes customary court hearing for ContourGlobal takeover by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co LP to take place on December 16, followed by share suspension on December 20. An acquisition may be deemed as final when the only remaining hurdles to clear are customary ones, FTSE Russell says, noting thats index review is to take effect on December 19. "An acquisition scheduled to occur subsequent to the review may be expedited and applied in conjunction with the review effective date, in order to minimise turnover. Consequently, ContourGlobal will be removed from all FTSE Russell indices from the open of Monday 19 December 2022 concurrent with the December review," FTSE Russell explains. Replacement to be announced after market close on December 14.
