Concurrent Technologies Launches New AdvancedMC Module

Tue, 24th Feb 2015 09:17

LONDON (Alliance News) - Computer components manufacturer Concurrent Technologies PLC on Tuesday said it has launched a new AdvancedMC computer module.

The new model of the processor offers a high level of parallel processing to augment the capability of its current Intel processors, the company said.

"Many of our customers need supercomputer performance in the size of a shoe box that is suitable for their embedded applications. This module enables us to provide significantly higher compute densities in diverse solutions with our existing AMC product range, enabling our customers to swiftly create a range of security, image analysis and simulation products by using combinations of our modules," said Concurrent Chief Executive Officer Glen Fawcett.

Shares in Concurrent were untraded on Tuesday, having last traded at 42.00 pence.
