(Alliance News) - Cluff Natural Resources PLC on Wednesday announced the appointment of Sarah McLeod as chief financial officer.
McLeod joins from New Age African Global Energy Ltd, where she was financial controller. She previously held roles at Deloitte LLP, AP Moller-Maersk AS, and ConocoPhillips.
Chief Executive Graham Swindells said: "Sarah brings a wealth of financial and commercial upstream oil and gas experience and knowledge to the role, particularly in relation to the North Sea, which will be invaluable to the company as we continue to develop.
"Sarah joins at an exciting time for the company following the completion of two farm-outs with Royal Dutch Shell PLC and will be a key part of the management team as we seek to build on recent achievements and continue to grow the company."
Cluff has a number of licences off the coast of the UK, in the southern North Sea.
Shares were 8.3% higher on Wednesday morning at 1.68 pence each.
