Cerillion Inks USD8.3 Million Three Year Deal With US Telecoms Firm

LONDON (Alliance News) - Cerillion PLC on Wednesday said it has signed a "major new contract" worth USD8.3 million with a US-based telecoms company.

Shares in Cerillion were up 7.1% at 159.00 pence on Wednesday morning.

Cerillion provides billing, charging, and customer relations software products and will supply, install, and maintain its Enterprise suite. Cerillion will receive an initial USD6.8 million from the undisclosed US firm and USD8.3 million over three years.

"We are very pleased to have secured this major contract with a leading regional US telecoms provider. It is one of the company's largest wins, and was awarded after a stringent selection process. It demonstrates the attractive nature of our comprehensive, pre-integrated end-to-end solution, which can drive significant performance benefits for telecoms operators," said Cerillion Chief Executive Louis Hall.
