Cerillion clinches contract with new telecommunications client

(ShareCast News) - Cerillion clinched a contract with a new major telecommunications customer from the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.The customer relationship management software provider said the contract was for the licence, implementation and support of its enterprise CRM and billing solution and was initially worth £2.1m.AIM-listed Cerillion expected the contract to be completed over the coming between six to nine months, adding that "the new win underpins existing market expectations".Louis Hall, Cerillion chief, said: "I am delighted to announce this major contract win with a new customer in the EMEA region after a competitive tender process. Our Enterprise solution is advanced, functionally rich and fully integrated and provides a full end-to-end billing solution. We have added a real-time convergent charging system to our capability which enhances the attractiveness of our product and we look forward to commencing the implementation."As of 15:42 BST shares in Cerillion were higher by 7.39% to 7.5p.
