Capita CFO Patrick Butcher steps down

Mon, 16th Nov 2020 09:21
(Sharecast News) - Outsourcer Capita said on Monday that chief financial officer Patrick Butcher has decided to step down with immediate effect to pursue other opportunities.
The board has appointed Gordon Boyd to take over as interim CFO and executive director "to ensure continuity and effective ongoing leadership", it said.

Butcher will assist Boyd in an orderly handover and stay on at the company until the end of March next year.

Capita said a process is now underway to identify and appoint a permanent successor as CFO and a further announcement will be made in due course.

Chief executive officer Jon Lewis said Boyd "brings significant experience of working in companies going through a period of change" and "will play a crucial role" in the company's ongoing transformation. Capita
