LONDON (Alliance News) - Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment PLC on Tuesday reported a rise in net revenue in the fourth quarter of 2015, ahead of its merger with smaller peer GVC Holdings PLC.
The online gaming company said net revenue in the fourth quarter of 2015 grew 4% year-on-year, driven by sports betting and casino, as strong growth in mobile benefited from further product enhancements.
Bwin added that its takeover by peer GVC is expected to complete on February 1.
"Based upon recent trading performance, the forthcoming Euro Championship in 2016 and the full year benefit of cost savings already achieved in 2015, the board believes that the group's prospects are strong, and these will be enhanced yet further by the proposed combination with GVC Holdings PLC," Bwin said in a statement.
