Burberry director cuts stake with 400k-pound share sale

A director at Burberry sold over 400,000 pounds-worth of shares in the luxury brand company this week, the firm said on Wednesday.Pascal Perrier, the President of Burberry's Asia Pacific division, sold 30,000 ordinary shares at 1366.8p a pop on January 22nd.The sale, which amounts to £410,040, was recorded under the description of a "Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities". The transaction came just one week after the group's third-quarter trading update impressed the market with a 9% underlying rise in revenues to £613m, as a 13% increase in retail sales offset a 5% decline in wholesale.At that time, Chief Executive Officer Angela Ahrendts said the increase in group's underlying retail growth in the third quarter had benefited from a particularly strong week in the run up to Christmas.
