Botswana Diamonds begins 2016 drill programme

(ShareCast News) - The board of AIM-traded Botswana Diamonds confirmed on Wednesday that its 2016 drill programme had begun.It said the first large diameter reverse circulation hole on kimberlite AK21 on PL 260 in Orapa started on Tuesday, targeting a depth of 300 metres.The first of three narrow diamond drill holes were set to commence later in the week on the same licence."Following the completion of these holes the diamond drill rig will move to PL 210 in Orapa to drill two or three holes targeting the potential source of the strong kimberlitic indicator minerals," the board said in a statement.
