LONDON (Alliance News) - Internet media company Blinkx PLC on Thursday said it has completed a deal to acquire All Media Network LLC for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition of All Media gives Blinkx access to a number of website properties, including Sidereel.com, Allmusic.com and Allmovie.com, which collectively represent more than 25 million unique users per month.
Blinkx said the consideration for the deal was paid in cash and it expects it to be earnings accretive in the first full year after the acquisition.
"All Media adds established digital properties to our portfolio, and brings a talented team that has successfully built and run consumer properties online," said Blinkx Chief Executive Subhransu Mukherjee.
Shares in Blinkx were up 2.1% to 27.575 pence on Thursday.
