(Alliance News) - Arix Bioscience PLC on Tuesday said Naseem Amin has been appointed as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
In addition, Arix said Franz Humer will be retiring from the board on the same date.
The investment firm said Amin will be a member of the Remuneration Committee.
Amin is currently chief executive of GMP-Orphan and a venture partner at Advent Life Sciences. He previously was chief scientific officer of FTSE 100-listed medical equipment firm Smith & Nephew PLC.
Arix shares were trading 2.5% lower in London on Tuesday afternoon at 112.10 pence each.
