APC Technology's Smartwave Signs UK Distribution Deal With Webthings

LONDON (Alliance News) - APC Technology Group PLC on Tuesday said its Internet of Things unit, APC Smartwave, has signed an exclusive UK distribution agreement with Webthings Group.

Webthings makes products offering low-cost IoT services used in sub-metering, utility monitoring and environmental and condition monitoring applications.

Under the agreement, on which no financial details were disclosed, APC will distribute Webthings products in the UK with the option to extend this to European markets.

APC shares were up 5.0% to 8.40 pence early Tuesday.
