(Alliance News) - Alpha Financial Markets Consulting PLC on Thursday announced that the High Court of England and Wales has approved a takeover bid of the company by Actium Bidco Ltd.
In June, the London-based specialist consultancy services to the financial services industry had agreed to the GBP626 million bid offer by Actium Bidco, an indirect subsidiary of Bridgepoint Advisers Ltd, itself part of Bridgepoint Group PLC.
Bridgepoint Group is a private asset investor with EUR61 billion of assets under management, specialising in private equity, private credit and infrastructure.
The acquisition is expected to take effect August 19.
Shares in Alpha Financial closed up 0.1% at 504.50 pence in London on Thursday.
Bridgepoint shares closed up 1.6% at 301.80 pence.
