(Alliance News) - Advanced Oncotherapy PLC on Wednesday said it has agreed with Cleveland Clinic to start a collaborative research study.
Under the agreement, the radiotherapy technology developer said it will evaluate the target conformity of proton minibeams in comparison with X-ray stereotactic body radiation therapy.
The study is aiming to increase the efficacy of treatment and improving quality of life for patients through a reduction of side effects or increased long-term survival, Advanced Oncotherapy explained.
The stock was trading 1.3% higher in London on Wednesday at 38.50 pence each.
