Computer Sciences Gets European Approval For Xchanging Takeover

LONDON (Alliance News) - US-based Computer Sciences Corp on Thursday said it has secured European Union approval for its GBP480.0 million takeover of UK-listed business processing, technology and procurement services provider Xchanging PLC.

Having secured approval for the deal from the European Commission, CSC will now have to get the sign off from UK and German regulators before the deal can close.

Xchanging shares were up 0.5% to 192.00 pence Thursday.
