IN BRIEF: Westmount Energy Hails Positive Results From Tanager-1 Well

Westmount Energy Ltd - South America-focused energy investor - Results from the drilling of the Tanager-1 well, offshore Guyana have confirmed the continuance of a Cretaceous petroleum system and the Liza play fairway onto the Kaieteur Block.

Partners on the Kaieteur block will now conduct a detailed evaluation of data collected at Tanager-1 in order to understand the well's result, recalibrate the seismic model for that section of the basin and high grade the next potential drilling targets on the block.

Year-to-date change: up 12%
