LONDON (Alliance News) - Westminster Group PLC said Wednesday it has acquired aviation security services firm Euro Ops Srl for EUR20,000 as it looks to expand its business in Francophone countries.
Security firm Westminster explained including working capital, the acquisition of France-based Euro Ops would not exceed GBP30,000.
Chief Executive Peter Fowler said he was "delighted" by the acquisition.
"We have been exploring ways to develop the Francophone market for some time and the acquisition of Euro Ops now provides us with an ideal opportunity to grow our business in such regions, both from Euro Ops existing business activities and also through the expansion of Westminster's airport and managed services business," Fowler added.
Shares in Westminster were 4.3% lower at 7.51 pence on Wednesday.
