Wolf Minerals Gets Recommendation For Environmental Certification

LONDON (Alliance News) - Wolf Minerals Ltd on Tuesday said it has been recommended for an ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management systems implemented at the Hemerdon tungsten and tin project in Devon.

The implementation of an environmental management system is a condition of the Environment Agency's permit for the project and is required to be in place prior to the commencement of processing tungsten ore, Wolf said.

"The certification is a stamp of approval that we have the necessary systems and processes in place to manage and monitor our environmental performance and it will provide our local communities and other stakeholders the comfort that we are managing the environment in which we work to the highest standards," said Wolf Managing Director Russell Clark.

Shares in Wolf were up 1.4% to 20.28 pence on Tuesday.
