Resolute Mining Ltd - operates gold mines Syama in Mali and Mako in Senegal - Confirms Stuart Gales as managing director and chief executive officer, effective from Friday. Gale joined Resolute as chief financial officer at the start of 2020 and became interim CEO in October. Also hires Terry Holohan as chief operating officer. Holohan joins from PT Archi Indonesia, where Resolute notes he developed an open-pit gold mine from an exploration project to an operational mine. David Kelly, the current COO, will remain as an executive, and Resolute has begun a search for a new CFO.

Headlam Group PLC - Birmingham-based floorcoverings distributor - Hires Simon King as non-executive director, starting immediately. King was CEO of Wickes until 2019. The DIY store chain was spun off from Travis Perkins PLC and listed in London as Wickes Group PLC last month. King is a non-executive director of building materials supplier SIG PLC. Headlam says it is recruiting a second new non-executive director as well.

John Menzies PLC - aviation services firm with headquarters in Edinburgh - Hires Henrik Lund as independent non-executive director, starting June 1. Menzies says Lund has an executive background in air, land and sea freight forwarding and logistics, having worked for DHL, part of Deutsche Post AG, and others.

Providence Resources PLC - Barryroe oil and gas field off coast of Cork, Ireland - Hires James Menton as senior independent non-executive director, starting immediately. Menton is a partner at KPMG Ireland, where he provides advice to Ireland's list oil and gas companies.

Spectris PLC - Egham, England-based precision instrumentation and controls supplier - Martha Wyrsch retires as non-executive director from Friday, having served on the board since 2012.
