LONDON (Alliance News) - Telecommunications company Vodafone Group PLC said Wednesday that Samuel Jonah will not seek re-election as non executive director at the company's annual general meeting in July having served on the board for over nine years.
Jonah was appointed as a non executive director on April 1, 2009, and is a member of Vodafone's remuneration committee.
Vodafone Group Chairman Gerard Kleisterlee said: "On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Sam for his significant contribution to Vodafone during his long tenure and wish him well for the future."
Shares in Vodafone closed at 140.80 pence each, down 1.1%.
