Vodafone led telecom stocks higher on Monday as the operator achieved a 500,000 customer milestone following the launch of 4G six months ago.Sector peer Telecom Plus gained after saying it will increase its annual dividend by 13% to 35p as the utility services provider is confident of achieving profits in line with market expectations.Aerospace and defence companies were the worst performers, with Rolls Royce and International Consolidated Airlines (IAG) falling on the FTSE 100.Jefferies said it was a "mixed one" for the aerospace sector last week.
