Rupert Murdoch is said to be considering another bid for outright control of BSkyB, according to The Daily Telegraph.The media tycoon owns 39.1% of BSkyB and has been trying to gain a controlling stake since 2010. The acquisition would allow a merger with Sky Deutschland and Sky Italia, where Murdoch is already majority shareholder.If he decided to take another stab at buying out the company, it would come under his 21st Century Fox business. The new public company was created when Murdoch split his profitable television and film businesses from the less profitable publishing interests.21st Century Fox refused to comment on claims it could put an offer in for the broadcaster.Murdoch's first bid to takeover BSkyB was withdrawn in 2011 amid a phone hacking scandal by his company News Corporation. Analysts have also suggested Vodafone could buy BSkyB.RD
