Vislink Nine-Month Revenue Down But Pebble Beach Business Robust

Tue, 20th Dec 2016 07:47

LONDON (Alliance News) - Vislink PLC on Tuesday said trading remains in line with its expectations for 2016 as it reported a decline in revenue for the first nine months.

Vislink, which provides technology services to the broadcasting, surveillance and public safety markets, said it made GBP31.8 million in revenue for the nine months to the end of September, down from GBP36.7 million a year before.

The decline was driven by revenue from the Communication Systems arm falling to GBP23.5 million from GBP29.5 million. Vislink agreed to sell the Communication Systems business in October.

That leaves it focused on its Pebble Beach automation and content management unit, where revenue rose to GBP8.3 million in the first nine months of 2016, from GBP7.1 million a year before.
