LONDON (Alliance News) - Vernalis PLC Tuesday said it will work with Taisho Pharmaceutical Co in a drug discovery collaboration that will make use of its fragment and structure-based drug discovery platform.
The company said it will have an "undisclosed target for the development of potential antibiotic agents". It did not disclose the financial terms of the collaboration with the Japanese company.
Vernalis shares were down 1.2% at 45.44 pence on Tuesday morning.
