(Alliance News) - Malaysia-headquartered Vertu Capital Ltd on Wednesday said Non-Executive Director Mark Simmonds has resigned from the board with immediate effect in order to pursue other interests.
Simmonds has served on the board of the investment firm since May 2018, having previously held the position of foreign and commonwealth office minister responsible for Africa, the Caribbean and UK overseas territories international energy and conflict prevention.
"The company would like to thank Mark for his service to the company and wishes him the best for his future endeavours," Vertu said in its statement Wednesday.
The stock was untraded in London on Wednesday midday, last closing at 0.70 pence a share.
