UK DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Changes At Tufton Investment Management

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of share dealings by London-listed company directors and managers announced on Monday and Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Tufton Oceanic Assets Ltd - invests in portfolio of second-hand commercial sea-going vessels - Notes a corporate reorganisation by investment manager Tufton Investment Management Ltd. A new financial investor - which Tufton Oceanic doesn't name but says is a European family office - has acquired shares from long-standing financial shareholders in Tufton Investment Management, enabling the management team led by Chief Executive Officer Andrew Hampson and Chief Investment Officer Paulo Almeida to buy an increased stake in the business. Tufton Investment Management manages USD1.1 billion in shipping assets across a number of funds, including Tufton Oceanic, which had a net asset value of USD243 million on September 30. Says the European family office intends to take part in future capital raises by Tufton Oceanic. Separately, Tufton Oceanic says it has acquired a containership for USD6.8 million, taking its fleet to 19 vessels. The ship has a fixed rate time charge of a least three years to an investment-grade "major container line".

Hollywood Bowl Group PLC - Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire-based operator of multi-lane ten-pin bowling and mini-golf centres - Members of senior leadership team sell 491,068 shares in total, at GBP2.03, worth GBP996,868, on Monday. Company says sales are to settle tax liabilities and cover property-related expenses. CEO Stephen Burns and associate Abigail Ashby-Burns sell 198,534 shares, and Burns now interested in 3.2 million shares, a 2.0% stake. Chief Financial Officer Laurence Keen and associate Pippa Keen sell the same number of shares, and Keen is now interested in 1.4 million shares. Denece Hart, associate of Chief Marketing & Technology Officer Mat Hart, sells 94,000 shares, with Hart now interested in 934,449 shares.

JTC PLC - Jersey-based provider of fund, corporate and private client services - Ian Johns, head of private client services, sells 50,000 shares at average 560 pence, worth GBP280,000, on Monday. JTC says sale was to finance purchase of family home.

Pebble Group PLC - Manchester-based technology and services for promotional products industry - Chair Richard Law buys 108,803 shares at 130p, worth GBP141,444, on Thursday last week and Monday. Now has 304,041 shares.

UIL Ltd - closed-end Bermuda-incorporated investment company - Non-executive directors Stuart Bridges, Alison Hill and David Shillson buy 5,570, 4,304 and 4,304 shares, respectively, at 196.5p, together worth GBP27,860, on Tuesday.

AVI Global Trust PLC - invests in family-controlled holding companies, closed-end funds and asset backed opportunities - Head of Research Tom Treanor buys 2,521 shares at 886.7p, worth GBP22,354, on Monday. Now interested in 14,232 shares.

Aurora Investment Trust PLC - Non-Executive Director James Nelson buys 10,000 shares at 210.00p, worth GBP21,000, on Monday. Now has 50,000 shares.

Edge Performance VCT PLC - venture capital trust - Carol Goodfellow, associate of Director Robin Goodfellow, buys 10,000 H shares at 120p, worth GBP12,000, on Tuesday last week.
